Averr Aglow is a natural, vegan, and cruelty-free company. Interestingly, this set does not use a typical cleanser. It’s a completely water-less system. The Clarifying Hydration Dew is the first step, which is a toner you apply. It’s a beautiful blend of organic rose water, cucumber, and fennel seed extract reduces redness and oiliness and softens the skin.
⠀
The next step is the Radiant Cleansing Nectar - This is a liquid that has a bi-phase component to it. You shake it up and apply it to a facial pad and buff it all over your face. This will help re-balance and has an exfoliating component with these specific ingredients. The main ingredients are Manuka Oil which is antimicrobial, Hawthorn Berry is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants and Apple Seed Oil is loaded with sulfur and amino acids. One of my faves in the line. It does a beautiful job of calming the skin.
The Clear Skin Elixir is the nighttime treatment. My skin loved this product right off the bat, and in my opinion, if you want to try just one, this is the product you should invest in. It can be used as an overnight mask or a spot treatment. I get more benefits using it as a spot treatment, personally.
⠀
One ingredient I want to highlight in the Clear Skin Elixir is French Pink Clay is more so volcanic ash. A combination of red and white clays, it has a negative ion charge, which pulls and draws out toxins. ⠀
I am VERY apprehensive with spot treatments because they never tend to work for me, but this is the new benchmark.⠀
⠀
Lastly, the Flawless Nourishment Cream - A little goes a long way. One of the ingredients I want to highlight is Raspberry seed. It’s cold-pressed and included to help heal wounds and keeps water under the surface of the skin to keep it hydrated. I reserve this for my evening routine because of my oily-combo skin love gel-cream moisturizers in the morning.
Averr Aglow understands the importance of hydration, exfoliation, and keeping the skin barrier healthy in the fight to keep acne at bay. Furthermore, I L O V E the representation of Black women and people of color on their website, everywhere I looked there was equal representation. Very important. Very necessary.⠀
