2-Month Update With Pacifica Beauty Acne Warrior Line

I’m back with my 2-month update using Pacifica Beauty’s Acne Warrior Line. To learn more about the history of Pacifica and my initial thoughts click HERE

First up the Acne Warrior Clearing Astringent ($12/ 8 FL OZ)

Because this is an astringent, it has a base of alcohol and can help with oil production, but on the flip side, it has the potential to dry out your skin so I don’t suggest you use this everyday. You can think of astringent as a stronger form of a toner.

I implement this into my routine once or twice a week when my skin is feeling congested and it does a great job helping clear acne. Consider spot treating only the oily parts of your skin. I’ve observed that If you have body acne, swiping this on your chest and back is also a great step to help clear pimples in those problem areas.

Next up is the Dry It Out Acne Gel Spot Treatment ($10/ 1 FL OZ)

What I like about this spot treatment is the fact that it’s clear. I put these on my whiteheads in the evening. You only need the tiniest bit. I like using a doe foot applicator to apply it directly to the pimple. It does give off a tingling sensation upon application, but it goes away momentarily. It takes about 48 hours to fully heal.

I also want to mention that this can be a little tough to squeeze so be cautious, other than that I think this is a good product. NOTE: Because this contains alcohol, it can be drying so it’s important to use a good moisturizer. I’ve been enjoying Pacifica’s Vegan Collagen Overnight Recovery Cream.

Lastly is on the Pore Warrior Overnight Rescue Spot Dots ($7/30 Patches)

Not only are these heart-shaped patches too cute, they are a perfect size to cover whiteheads.

I don’t know about you, but I am a serial pimple picker. Did you know the medical term is called dermatillomania!

These Spot Dots are a great way to prevent the spread of bacteria due to picking.

Hydrocolloid is the main ingredient in these. It works because it’s made of gel-forming agents that create a moist environment around the area of the pimple to draw out the excess fluids and pus. Which is the part I can never look away from lol

Creating a moist environment is important since this prevents the pimple from drying out and sticking to the patch.

Not only does the Spot Dot help heal regular acne quickly and reduce scarring, but it also works on hormonal acne!

If you’re looking for subtlety then this will not be your top choice.

The stickers are definitely not your traditional pimple patches, However, they’re perfect for nighttime wear or under a mask if you’re going out.

All-in-all these are some solid products and you can’t beat the prices!

Come back next month to hear more about my thoughts on the Pacifica Acne Warrior line. Have you tried any of these? I’d love to know your thoughts.
